Workbench Update #1

A side project of Normans. I was going to paint up an opposing force of Saxons but I think I'll just knock out a ton and let them scrap each other. Luckily, I found a local player who had collected 28mm armies for Warhammer Ancient Battles and is now going to be playing Clash of Empires and was looking for opponents. That's where I come in.

I'm waiting on delivery of some sort of dark earth coloured gritty paste from Vallejo for the bases. My old way of basing involved too many steps and I like to throw money at my problems until they go away. Hence, the Vallejo stuff.

For kicks, here's a shot of my workbench. I don't like to mix paint and as that is a problem for me, see above. Do I have more paint than I need? Probably. Am I a paint junkie? Most likely. Do I ask and answer my own questions? Often times.

  1. "I like to throw money at my problems until they go away." LOL!

I envy your paint collection. My paint collection feels inadequate by comparison. Where did you get the paint racks?

BTW, what is that painting on the wall?

  2. The paint racks I made myself after much refitting and cursing from foamcore.

The painting is a print called 'The Siege of Acre' showing Hospitaller Guillaume de Clermont defending the walls.
